Every so often, I find a piece of music worthy of closed eyes. You know the one. When the notes trickle through your speakers, eye lids slowly clamp. The head tilts back and you are transported to a different world. Kanazu Tomoyuki’s “Torso In April” did just that for me this afternoon. It melts away the day and leaves me with only a smile. It is like wake up from a long night’s rest as early morning rain begins to slide down the window panes. Simply put, it is beautiful.
